Six new cases as Vic COVID outbreak grows

VICTORIA'S LATEST COVID-19 OUTBREAK:

* New locally acquired cases (during 24-hour reporting period): seven

* Linked cases: Six to existing outbreaks

- Four linked to Bacchus Marsh Grammar, all students

- Two to Lacrosse Apartments, both household contacts

* Infectious while in the community and unlinked: one, the case of a traffic controller at a Melbourne testing site reported on Wednesday

* New hotel quarantine cases: none

* Total local cases linked to outbreaks: 204, not including mystery case

* Hospital admissions: seven including two in ICU, one on a ventilator

* Exposure sites: More than 310

* Primary close contacts: More than 13,000

* Tests conducted (during 24-hour reporting period): 42,009

* Vaccinations at state-run sites (during 24-hour reporting period): 19,118
