Two charged over weekend burglaries
Two people have been charged with burglary-related offences after several businesses were allegedly broken into over the weekend.
Broome Police Acting Officer in Charge Senior Sergeant Andy Henshaw said police reported an increase in burglaries around town, with a number of properties, including commercial premises, targeted on Saturday and Sunday.
Two people have since been charged and were due to appear in court today.
Sen Sgt Henshaw said investigations were continuing and police were appealing to the public for help.
