It was another thrilling night at Broome Speedway on Saturday, with drivers battling it out on the track for the Derby vs Broome round. First up for the night were the Junior Go Karts, with Carlia Rainey-Barton winning followed by Piper Radke second. In the Senior Go Karts, Dan Harris triumphed followed by Ben Rainey-Barton in second and Ben Harris third. Sam Mills finished first in the New Star Juniors race, followed by Jamikah Darcy, Luke Bailey in third and Ayden Mills fourth. In the Junior Quarter Midgets, Lincoln Hoath won with Brinley McGaffin Jnr second and Steven Kirk third. Fan favourites the Street Stocks were next up, with Brinley McGaffin taking the chocolates followed by Josh Ellis second and Jake Hoath third. In the Modlites, Rob Kirk proved hottest on track, with Jason Webb second and Anna Elliot third. In the Productions, Jhye Kent crossed the finish line first followed by Mick Johnson and Rowan Drysdale third. The Super Sedans tore up the track once again, with Tom Oliver taking the win as usual ahead of second-placed Aaron Jeffrey and Ben Rainey-Barton in third. Craig Francis was victorious in the Wingless race, with Jose Glasson runner-up.
