Thousands attend Broome Cup to celebrate last event of the Broome racing season

Thousands of punters flocked to Broome on Saturday for the premier racing event in the Kimberley — the Broome Cup. The festive atmosphere extended well into the night, as celebrations carried on after the races. While there was a noticeable police presence, their services were not required, as racegoers enjoyed the event with exemplary behaviour.
