Silly season is coming to Broome!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year.

Broome is gearing up for a December packed with holiday cheer, sizzling events and plenty of festive spirit.

As the humidity rises, so do the celebrations, with something for everyone this Christmas season.

The action begins with Santa’s Mega Meat Raffles at The Roey on Fridays December 5, 12, and 19, plus a special draw on Christmas Eve.

With more than $1500 worth of barbecue trays, roast packs and Christmas hams up for grabs, it’s the perfect chance to win a Christmas feast.

Tickets are available from 5pm, with the draw at 7pm.

For those looking to unwind, join Kim from Flourish Admin Ladies Who Lunch — Christmas Edition on Friday, December 5 is the perfect event.

From 1-4pm, enjoy good food, bubbles and conversation in a relaxed setting, with the location to be announced.

Saturday, December 6, brings Snapshot, a celebration of Broome’s art scene and the Kimberley Arts Network champs, starting at 6pm.

The event will feature an auction of small artworks, live music by Jaime Jacket and an auctioneer who’s sure to entertain, the incomparable Franque Batty.

On Sunday, December 7, the Shire of Broome’s Town Beach Christmas Party offers a family-friendly afternoon from 4:30pm with activities like a waterslide, face painting and market stalls, followed by Carols by Candlelight at 6pm.

Also on December 7, don’t miss the 2025 Christmas Market at the Town Beach Precinct from 4-8pm for local crafts and holiday goodies.

For those after a lively night out, Sexy Santa’s Xmas Party on Friday, December 12, is a must-attend at the Lounge Bar.

Expect festive cocktail specials, a photo corner with Santa, and beats by DJ Matt Burd.

Broome’s Xmas Goose Club at The Roey on Saturday, December 13 promises more prizes than Santa’s sack, with proceeds supporting the Kyle Andrews Foundation.

Keeping Broome traditions strong — join in the Xmas Eve Wet Tee Competition at The Roey, with $750 in cash up for grabs on Wednesday, December 24.

Finally, for a relaxed Christmas Day, Cable Beach House have a special Christmas lunch available with champagne on arrival, serving from noon to 2:30pm.
