Roebuck Primary School students plant fresh bush tucker garden for National Tree Planting Day

Roebuck Primary School students from Years 4 to 6 planted native seedlings as part of National Tree Planting Day on July 25.
The students from the school’s Environment Student Action Team were joined by Shire of Broome staff to plant a new bush tucker garden.
Shire president Chris Mitchell said the event was a fantastic opportunity to bring students and local government together.
“It’s always inspiring to see young people so engaged with their environment,” he said.
“ This kind of initiative not only strengthens their community connections, but also empowers them to take pride in the places they live and learn.”
