Two rounds of motocross action took place at the Broome motocross track over Saturday and Sunday. First up in round three, Cooper Thomas edged out Jack Rigby in second and Louis Ledgerwood in third place to take the win in the 65cc under 10 to 12 years race. Ledgerwood then continued on into the 85cc under nine to 12 years race, coming in third again just behind Tyler Gibson in second and winner Jemaine Oakes-Garrett. Reece Lydeamore won the 85cc under 12 to 16 years race, from Scarlett Griffin (second) and Jasper Williams third, with Jaiden Lazic, Taj Bodle and Zachary LeMay filling out fourth, fifth and sixth places. The Junior Lites then took to the track in a close race, with Josh Schultz taking the win from Tige Williams and David Deal hot on his tail in second and third place. It was a two-man duel in the Pro Lites race, with both racers evenly matched but Jevan Dawe got home first from Zaid Cahill a close second. In the open race, Taite Prime triumphed followed closely by Ross Gibson in second and Greg Pollett down the track third. The quad bikes also hit the track this round with Michael Fleeton winning the Senior Quad race closely followed by Josh Osgood in second and Troy Gibson in last. On Sunday morning it was time for round four, with Cruz Webber beating out Ryder McSherry in the opening 50cc Pro race. Louis Ledgerwood then had his revenge from the previous round, winning the 65cc under 10 to 12 years race, with Cooper Thomas and Jack Rigby second and third respectively. Ledgerwood went on again to race in the 85cc under nine to 12 years race, finishing third behind winner Jemaine Oaks-Garret and Tyler Gibson (second). The under 12 to 16 years racers then took to the track in the 85cc race, with Reece Lydeamore coming in first place, followed by Scarlett Griffin and Jasper Williams in second and third. In the Junior Lites Josh Schultz took the win again leaving David Deal to cross the line second. In the Pro Lites, Jevan Daw took the win and Zaid Cahill finished second. Ben Williams crossed the line first in the Vets race, edging Owen LeMay in the two-man race. The Senior Quads hit the track again, with Michael Fleeton taking his second quad win for the weekend with Troy Gibson jumping to second place and Josh Osgood dropping to third.
