New charges for Broome masseur accused of indecent assault

A Broome based masseur who allegedly pulled down his client’s underwear during a massage in September has been charged with indecent assault. Jakub Erben, 31, appeared in Broome Magistrates Court via video link from Broome Regional Prison on Friday October 8, charged with three counts of indecent assault. Mr Erben was remanded in custody after appearing in court on October 5, with two fresh charges laid on his latest appearance. Mr Erben was charged for allegedly unlawfully assaulting a client during a massage session on September 16, at Thai Touch on Carnarvon Street in Broome. Mr Erben was also charged for allegedly unlawfully assaulting another during a massage session on September 23 at the same place. Mr Erben was previously charged for indecently assaulted a client in her 40s during a massage session on September 24. The court heard Mr Erben accused had come close to touching the victim’s genitals and had rubbed her breasts and inside her legs during the one-hour session. He has been charged with three counts of unlawful and indecent assault, and was remanded in custody due to appear before the Broome Magistrates Court on October 14 for a bail application to be made. Mr Erben is due to meet with his lawyer the day before, on October 13 as he claimed he did not fully understand the charges. Bail was not considered today.
