Netflexers end year on winning note
Netflexers have gone into their mid-season break in a favourable way, after defeating Fitbitz 22-5 on Monday, December 10.
In the final round of mixed netball for 2018, teams looked to end the year on a high at the Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre.
It was a slow start for Netflexers and Fitbitz, with both teams struggling to work up an early lead due to a combination of defensive pressure and errors.
Errors and frustration got the better of Fitbitz with Netflexers getting the 17-point victory, securing third place in the A-grade ladder.
Elsewhere in A-grade, Hornets defeated Aunty Megs 20-15, and High Flyers smashed Broomies 35-5.
Meanwhile in B-grade, Y Nots beat Bin Chickens 21-7, Dolphins defeated Pearls 20-5, Wolves thumped Tigers 36-4, Boabs held off Freestylers 19-15, and The Opposition upset No Idea 21-18.
