A man has admitted holding up staff at a Broome pizza shop with a pair of scissors.

Christopher James Gerrard appeared in Broome Magistrates Court on Monday via videolink from Hakea Prison charged with aggravated armed robbery and threats to harm.

The court was told Gerrard held up and threatened staff at Dominos with the scissors in April this year and stole a bag containing $155.

He was remanded in custody and will appear at a sitting of the District Court in Broome in January 2020.
