Hungry Tigers have too much class for Bombers

The Tigers took on the Peninsula Bombers at Derby Oval last Saturday in round 12 of the WKFL 2019 season.

From the outset, the Tigers were ready to establish dominance, booting four majors and keeping the Bombers to just three behinds and leading by 25 points.

But despite their efforts, the Tigers held on to lead 6.8 (44) to 4.5 (29) at half-time.

After the main break, the Tigers lit up the field with a six-goal haul while the Bombers struggled to convert and trailed by 38 points at the final change.

The Tigers extend their lead further with another four goals added to their tally.

Best players for the Tigers included Buddy Malay, Daniel Mooney, Wesley Bielawski, Samuel Jumburra and Frazer Millar.

This week the Tigers will go up against the undefeated Bidyadanga Emus, while the Bombers will try to bounce back against Broome Bulls.
