The Fossils are in top spot on the ladder in division one of the Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre netball competition after a huge win over their opposition in round one on February 13.

The Fossils, last year’s runners-up, defeated Orl Blaks 47-23 at the BRAC netball courts to head the ladder.

Townies then crushed the Freestylers 36-17 to seal second spot on the ladder.

In division two, Competitively Social chalked up another win, this time against Should Know Better, 26-13.

But despite Competitively Social’s victory, Mix Match shot to the top of the ladder after defeating How I Net Your Mother 39-14.

Vicious and Delicious stay in the top three after taking down All Nets No Balls 26-13.

In round two next week the Freestylers take on the Orl Blaks while Townies face the Fossils in division one.

In division two the top two teams, Mix Match and Competitively Social, will go head to head while Viscous and Delicious take on How I Net Your Mother and Should No Better battle it out with All Net No Balls.
