Broome revheads gathered in their hundreds to watch racers tear up the track down at the Broome Speedway for the fourth meet of the year on Saturday night. One of the highlights of the night was Curt Harris’s Street Stock Feature win after previously winning all heat races. Harris went on to cross the line first in the feature in three 3min. 8sec. followed by Phillip Lockhart nine seconds later with a time of 3:17. In the Modlites Feature Race Rob Kirk took out the win with a time of 6:42 after winning the third heat and was followed by Jason Webb 1.6sec. later with a time of 6:44 while Dylan McLaughlin placed third with a time of 6:51. Prue Plowright took home the win in the Production Sedans Feature with a time of 3:04 while Carli McLaughlin came in second with a time of 3:23. Having won all heats beforehand, Jose Glasson crossed the line first in the wingless feature with a time of 2:09 followed by Ross Grey in second place with a time of 2min11s. Then in the juniors, Zac Webster took out the win in the new star junior Ffature crossing the line in 3:29 while Steven Kirk came in second with a time of 3:37. Talented young Alyssa Halliday was the winner for the top star junior feature after winning all heats, crossing the line in 3:13 just one second in front of Koby Rickerby in second place, before Ayden Mills came in third with a time of 3:21.
