Cable Beach has been rated WA’s best bucket-list destination by an online travel site, which also revealed more than 90 per cent of Australians had never been to the Kimberley.

KAYAK listed the famed stretch of Broome sand as the seventh best bucket-list destination in Australia, and the only one in WA.

Data provided by the website revealed 89 per cent of Australians had never visited Broome, and 93 per cent had never ventured out to the Kimberley wilderness.

Northern Australia dominated the list, with other destinations including the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, Kakadu and the Daintree Rainforest.
