Broome’s Cable Beach has been closed this morning by Surf Life Saving WA lifeguards due to a shark sighting.

Surf Life Saving WA took to social media to announce the closure, eight days after the beach was closed for 24 hours due to a crocodile sighting.

Lifesavers reported the two-metre shark of an unknown species was sighted at 10:49am, 10 metres off Cable Beach.
