Broome Modlites drivers tear up track in preparation for annual Yakka Munga Stampede

Numbers were down over the weekend, but that didn’t stop Broome motorheads from tearing up the track on Saturday night as they prepare to make the trek to Derby for the Annual Yakka Munga Stampede this coming weekend.
Broome modlite drivers were out on the track trying to get as many laps under their belts as possible before heading to Hillview Speedway for the WA Modlite State Title.
A stand-out performance came from youngest member Dylan McLaughlin, who took out the modlite feature win followed by Ashley Smith in second and Anna Elliot in third.
In the Junior Quarter Midgets feature, Emily Kirk showcased her prowess, claiming the top spot on the podium.
Not to be outdone, the Junior Go Karts race featured an intense competition, with Fletcher Lane emerging victorious, closely trailed by Scott Taylor in second.
In the Senior Go Karts category, Dan Harris crossed the finish line first, followed Michelle Rainey-Barton in second and Jim Giesen third.
In the New Star Juniors feature, young talent Zac Webster was first, with Steven Kirk finishing a strong runner-up. Tamia Dixon displayed admirable skills securing third place, while Brinley McGaffin gave a commendable performance coming in fourth.
The Top Star Juniors feature showcased Luke Bailey’s remarkable abilities as he sealed victory, closely followed by Ayden Mills.
In the Street Stocks feature, Curt Harris took the honours from Eric Wade.
In the Production Sedans race, Greg Mills clinched first, with Ethan Dowell second and Spiker McLaughlin third.
In the Wingless feature, Jose Glasson dominated to finish first ahead of Ross Grey.
