A series of vehicle stops has resulted in a Broome man admitting to attempting to obtain MDMA to supply to others in a sitting of the Broome Magistrates Court. Braydan Graetz, 23, appeared in court last Monday accused of possessing cannabis and attempting to possess MDMA with intent to sell or supply. It was alleged that during a vehicle stop in Perth, police found $3,075 cash, 28 grams of cannabis in Mr Graetz’s possession, along with attempting to obtain 24 grams of MDMA with the intent to supply. In another vehicle stop along the North West Coastal Highway near Shark Bay, police allegedly found another seven grams of cannabis and a smoking implement in Mr Graetz’s possession. Mr Graetz, who was accompanied by a small number of his friends for support, pleaded guilty to all charges. He will be sentenced in the District Court for the drug supplying charge on March 10 and in the Magistrates Court on March 16 for the remaining charges.
