The racing season continues in Broome, with thousands of punters once again turning up to the Turf Club on July 11 for the fifth round of the Broome Races.
The meeting opened with Bondi Queen (J. Tsang) breaking through in the maiden ahead of Viva Marconi (T. Murray) and Angel Like You (B. Casey).
What’s The Point (A. Galati) then claimed race two from Dust Aside (K. Yuill) and Majestuoso Phoenix (J. Gray).
Vevinsky (P. Farrell), Now You See Me (J. Tsang), Zorbrist (A. Galati), Pharoah Show (J. Gray) and Shasfa (G. O’Donnell) completed the list of winners, capping off a day of competitive racing and close finishes.
The next round and crowd favourite Tradies Day will take place on July 24.
