Adrenaline pumping spectacle at Broome Speedway’s third meet

Broome motorsport fans were treated to an adrenaline pumping spectacle as the Broome Speedway hosted its third meet of the year on Saturday night.

One of the highlights of the evening was the Modlite feature race, where Rob Kirk emerged as the victor, completing the race in an impressive time of 7 minutes and 47 seconds.

Close behind was Glen Dearle, finishing just a fraction of a second later at 7min48s while Dylan McLaughlin secured third in 7min49s.

The New Star Junior Feature race showcased the talent of young Tamia Dixon who clinched the win, completing the race in a remarkable time of 4 minutes while Steven Kirk claimed the second spot in 4min05s.

In the Production Sedans feature race, Jeff Steele demonstrated his prowess, finishing in 3 minutes and five seconds, claiming the top spot while Carli McLaughlin came second in 2min28s.

The Street Stocks Feature race was a thrilling contest with Curt Harris emerging as the victor in 2 minutes and 2 seconds.

Andrew Norton followed closely behind, finishing at 2min09 while Phillip Lockhart claimed the third spot in 2min10s.

The Top Star Junior Feature race saw Ayden Mills win in 2 minutes and 35 seconds.

Alyssa Halliday came second, finishing in 2min38s while Koby Rickerby clinched third in 2min42s.

The Wingless Feature race had the crowd on the edge with Jose Glasson emerging as the winner in an impressive 2 minutes and 2 seconds while Ross Grey was second in 2min09s.

Broome Speedway drivers will tear up the track at their next meet, set for Saturday July 1.
