VideoRadio personality Kyle Sandilands has arrived at a Sydney courthouse for legal proceedings involving ARN and his former co-host Jackie O.

Kyle Sandilands has hinted at a comeback, teasing a “new project” in a fresh video shared with fans as his legal battle with KIIS FM’s parent company continues.

In the clip, the radio host joked it was “a surprise that I’ve even got fans left” before thanking supporters for sticking by him following his shock exit from the network last month.

Sandilands is currently locked in a dispute with Australian Radio Network (ARN) over his 10-year, $100 million contract, with the 54-year-old previously saying he wants to return to the air and fulfil the remaining eight years of the deal.

Despite the ongoing court case, he suggested something new is already in the works behind the scenes.

“Don’t tell anyone, but I’m working on a new project and all will be revealed soon,” he said.

“Thank you for your prayers, coming back guys, bigger than ever hopefully, actually not fatter.”

The video shows Sandilands speaking directly to camera in front of a blank console, offering no clues about what the project might involve. Fans were quick to speculate in the comments that it could be a podcast, though he did not confirm any details or timeline.

He also joked about a diet his wife Tegan has put him on which included only grapes and boiled eggs for breakfast, admitting he had cheated with a Twirl and a can of Coke.

His manager, Bruno, appeared to be in the background, telling Sandilands he looked good.

“Thank you,” Sandilands replied, before adding: “That’s Bruno, he’s paid to say, well, he’s not paid at the moment.

“Oh, that’s means so much more to me. Give us a cuddle.”

Fans were quick to jump in, excited about Sandilands’ return.

“Let’s go mate,” singer Conrad Sewell wrote.

“Your (sic) the man Kyle,” a commenter said.

“This made my day,” another user wrote.

Sandilands, one half of the long-running Kyle and Jackie O Show, was taken off air in February after an on-air clash with co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson escalated, ending their 25-year personal and professional relationship.

Henderson has previously claimed she made a complaint about her co-host and, following the incident, felt unsafe continuing to work with him. She has since launched legal action against ARN, seeking $82 million in compensation and alleging her contract was unfairly terminated.

While Henderson has largely stayed out of the spotlight, Sandilands has continued to front court and publicly push to return to radio.

“Put me back on the radio, and let’s get the share price back up,” he said outside court last week.

What did Kyle say to Jackie O?

During the heated on-air exchange in the February 20 broadcast of their The Kyle & Jackie O Show on KIIS FM, Sandilands criticised Henderson’s focus on astrology research related to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, following the British royal’s arrest in the UK.

“As I said, fascinating, but I don’t think it should be at the detriment of everything else on the show — this relentless research,” Sandilands said on air.

“It’s affecting other things … your fixation on this has made you almost unworkable. You’re off with the fairies with this s***. It’s mental.”

Henderson could be heard fighting back tears as the confrontation continued, with Sandilands adding: “It’s affecting everything else. You’re too fixated on it.

“You’re not doing the rest of the job, and everyone in the building has mentioned it to me. I’ve just said: ‘I’m not getting involved, that’s a management issue’.”

The public clash ultimately proved to be the final straw for Henderson, who later informed the network she could no longer continue working alongside her longtime co-host, according to the ARN statement.
