AUSTRALIANS should travel to Darwin for the sake of their ‘sanity’, says Sky News host Paul Murray, who will tonight beam the wonders of the NT to viewers across the country in a special edition of his show. Murray will host the final episode of Paul Murray Live Our Town for the year from Darwin’s Trailer Boat Club on Wednesday night, “shining a light” on the unexpected year that was and the COVID-19 recovery efforts in the capital city. The program will also showcase all the city has to offer in a bid to encourage those that can travel to visit with Murray looking to quiz business and community leaders about the “nuts and bolts” of what their plans are to boost tourism here as the rest of the country enters summer. Singer Kate Ceberano will perform for viewers during the show. The show, in front of a live audience, is a “genuine high wire act” with audience members able to pop up and say what they think of the Territory, from complaining about potholes or the port or where the best place is to go barra fishing.
