Now in its 25th year, this major foodie festival is back, celebrating the beauty of Mandurah and the area’s iconic blue manna crab. There are cooking demonstrations, live music, children’s activities and even fireworks. The music stage is headlined on Saturday by Havana Brown at 8pm, and on Sunday by Thelma Plum at 5pm.

XPress Magazine 40th birthday celebrations and book launch

Many WA music lovers will have fond memories of picking up an XPress and seeing what music was happening that week. The magazine is celebrating 40 years of operation with a concert. There will be live music, stories, interviews and a look at some of the best photos from their extensive archives. This is also the launch of the limited-edition coffee table book Rewind — 40 Years Of Xpress. Music acts performing include an impressive line-up of local talent such as Kav Temperley, Gyroscope, Donna Simpson, Cal Kramer, Dave Hole, Dom Mariani, Katy Steele, Dave Warner, Carla Geneve and Boox Kid.

Actor Heather Mitchell stars as the US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg in this one-woman play that pays tribute to the trailblazing legal mind.
