Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announce their engagement

Superstar couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have announced their engagement.

In a joint Instagram post, the couple wrote: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” along with photos showing Kelce proposing to Swift.

In a series of five photos, the superstar singer and her NFL player fiance were shown embracing after the proposal set amongst a floral backdrop.

The photos included a close-up of Swift’s engagement ring.

According to report the ring was an old mine brilliant-cut diamond from Kindred Lubeck.

Swift and Kelce had been dating for two years.

News of the engagement comes after Swift appeared on Kelce’s New Heights podcast earlier this month to announce her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, which will be released in October.
