Pop superstar Kesha arrives in Perth, greets fans and hugs baby ahead of Tits Out show in Claremont
Kesha arrived in Perth in style on Wednesday afternoon, where she greeted fans overwhelmed by her presence, took photos with them and signed posters.
The pop superstar, who peaked in 2010 with songs like TikTok and Your Love Is My Drug, touched down in Perth one day before she takes the stage at Perth HPC in Claremont on Thursday.
The 38-year-old arrived from Adelaide just after 2pm wearing a casual light brown track suit and orange-tinted sunglasses and made a beeline for the public airport toilets.
Kesha took a few minutes to refresh herself after the flight and change into a different outfit — a slip dress and sheer white robe with fluffy trimmings.
The Timber singer spent ages interacting with fans inside the airport where she signed posters and albums, took selfies and even held a fan’s baby daughter.
Superfan Jess Goodman and her family drove all the way from Gingin in hopes of coming face to face with her idol.
Her dream came true and Ms Goodman couldn’t believe her luck when Kesha agreed to hold her eight month old daughter Eden.
Kesha was smitten with baby Eden — who was obsessed with the star’s glasses and long blonde hair — and called her a “cutie patootie”.
Ms Goodman was lost for words when asked to describe the moment Kesha held her baby.
“It’s a dream come true,” she said.
“I’m so thankful for the time Kesha has spent with her fans, Eden and myself.”
A fan since day one, Ms Goodman said she loves Kesha for her “unremarkable style” and “cool vibe”.
Another person who was lucky enough to meet Kesha was Marian Purdy who ended up sitting next to the pop diva on the plane ride to Perth.
Ms Purdy is visiting Perth from the UK and said she was surprised to learn she was seated next to an American megastar.
“I knew nothing about her,” she admitted.
“She was very friendly, we chatted, she told me she came from Nashville and is doing an Australian tour.”
Kesha’s stop in Perth marks the end of the Australian leg of her Tits Out tour after previously performing in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide.
The Californian has more than 40 million social media followers and has reached more than three billion streams since her career skyrocketed in 2009 after featuring on Flo Rida’s Right Round.
She released her sixth studio album Period on July 4, 2025 under her own label Kesha Records.
The 11-song collection arrived one year since Kesha returned on her own terms with last year’s comeback hit Joyride.
