Shock jock Kyle Sandilands has broken his silence about his life after being sacked from KIIS FM, including his new-found support for One Nation leader Pauline Hanson, describing her as one of his “favourite people”.
Taking to the Game Changers Radio podcast, the former radio host opened up about his dramatic sacking at KIIS FM, his relationship with former co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and life after the Kyle & Jackie O Show.

In the lengthy podcast, which was released on Friday, Sandilands said he had been spending time working with Senator Hanson and her team after being dropped from his radio show.
“(I’ve) been working on them to get their messaging across, which I think has been well-received,” he told podcast co-hosts Irene Hulme and Craig Bruce.
He said Senator Hanson was a “surprise” and was “very inspirational”.
“She’s, like, one of my favourite people now,” he said.

Sandilands said he had spent some time alongside Senator Hanson and party colleague Barnaby Joyce, which he said gave him a fresh perspective on One Nation.
“They’re not what everyone thinks they are … a lunatic racist party of country bumpkins that think that the world should change,” he said.
He said he had taken Senator Hanson to meet some of his “upper society friends” to relay her messaging.
“Not my gangster friends,” he said.

The podcast was released days after Sandilands settled with his former employer ARN, which agreed to pay him $12m after he was terminated from his 10-year $100m contract.
The shock jock was ousted from the radio show after an on-air spat with former co-host Henderson in February.
He told the Game Changers Radio hosts he had no ill feelings towards any of his former colleagues or management.
“I still love the show, I still love the people that work there,” he said.
“I don’t even have any real issues with the management, in all honesty.”
“One Nation chief of staff James Ashby told The Sydney Morning Herald the shock jock former radio host was “not working for One Nation” officially, but said Senator Hanson reached out to Sandilands after “sh*t hit the fan”.
“She’s got a lot of time for him and wanted to make sure he was fine. I think he’s a legend,” he said.
