Billie Eilish announces Australia tour for new album Hit Me Hard and Soft but misses Perth, Adelaide
Billie Eilish has announced an Australian tour, but she won’t be coming to Perth.
Eilish, 22, is set to land Down Under to perform her upcoming album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, across Australia in February 2025.
Her new album is due to be released on May 17 this year.
The nine-time Grammy winner is due to perform 12 times on the east coast next year, with her entourage visiting Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne four times each.
Despite a flurry of dedicated Perth fans showing up to RAC Arena in 2022 when she closed out her Happier Than Ever world tour, the pop singer has left WA off her 2025 schedule.
New Zealand was also left out of the February tour.
The tour, which is promoted by Live Nation and Frontier Touring in Australia, will start in North America in September before it hits Australia, then Europe before ending in Ireland on July 27.
“HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR,” Eilish captioned an Instagram post announcing the tour on Monday night.
“Tickets on sale may 3rd 😋pre-sale april 30th-may 1st!”
With the help of her brother and sole collaborator, Finneas O’Connell, the pair wrote, recorded, and produced the album together in their hometown of Los Angeles.
The album comes on the heels of her two massively successful albums When We All Fall Asleep. Where Do We Go? and Happier Than Ever.
Last month, Eilish won the Academy Award for best original song for her tune, What Was I Made For? The song was used in the cult film, Barbie.
