Margaret River Region Open Studios

More than 150 local artists will open their doors for the annual art trail, now in its 13th year of giving the general public a rare glimpse inside WA creatives’ studios, workshops and homes.

Great Southern Bloom Festival

The spring festivals are in full bloom and the Great Southern’s version is one of WA’s best. The month-long program ranges from open gardens and dining experiences to heritage trails and hikes through the Stirling and Porongurup Ranges, with events taking place across the region from Kojonup and Katanning to Frankland River and Bremer Bay.

Everlasting Kings Park Festival

Friday September 18 to Sunday October 4, Kings Park and Botanic Garden, West Perth

Celebrate WA’s remarkable native flora as the State’s most famous garden hosts its annual spring festival. First staged back in 1964, this year’s program — with the theme of Stay Wild — features everything from workshops and guided walks to plant sales, entertainment, family activities and of course, thousands of plants to admire. A highlight of this year’s program is Moortabiny, an immersive sound and light show taking place over three nights from October 2 to 4.
