One woman was shot dead as President Donald Trump’s supporters breached barricades and stormed the US Capitol while officials tried to vote in the US President elect Joe Biden.

Hollywood A-listers are currently flocking to social media to galvanise their millions of followers to take action, with some calling for Trump to be immediately removed from power.

Sarah Jessica Parker has notably broken her seven year Twitter silence to tweet about the US Capitol breach.
