WA Premier Mark McGowan joins The West Live to weigh in on borders, Clive Palmer and China trade relations

WA Premier Mark McGowan will join The West Live this morning to discuss borders, Clive Palmer's High Court case and trade relations.

His appearance comes less than two weeks before the State’s hard border relaxation and a day after 15,000 West Aussies packed into Ascot Racecourse for a drunken day of antics.

He'll be questioned on whether WA is ready for the border changes on November 14, when the State is expected to experience an influx of interstate arrivals.

Mr McGowan is also expected to weigh in on damaged livestock carrier MV Barkly Pearl, which has been brought into Geraldton for safe harbour after it sustained a damaged hull about 120 kilometres north of the Mid West town.

All crew are reportedly in good health and not displaying any COVID-19 symptoms.
