Wyndham trio busted

Three people have faced an East Kimberley Court today after two search warrants in Wyndham allegedly uncovered a quantity of prohibited drugs and dangerous goods.

Kununurra Detectives targeting illicit drugs being brought into the community executed two search warrants on a residence on Koolama Street and a food business on Great Northern Highway on January 24.

It is alleged during the searches detectives located and seized cannabis, LSD and methylamphetamine, a crossbow and fireworks.

Three Wyndham residents were charged and appeared before the Wyndham Magistrates Court today.

A 32-year-old man was charged with several offences, including attempted possession of a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply, possession of prohibited drugs amphetamine and cannabis, drug paraphernalia and a controlled weapon as well as unlicensed possession of dangerous goods.

A 33-year-old man was charged with possession of prohibited drug dexamphetamines and a 30-year-old woman was charged with possessing prohibited drug LSD.
