SWFL reserves reigning premiers Bunbury still lead the way after 14 rounds of football.

The Bulldogs are in first place on the ladder with 12 wins from 13 games to start the year, with a 22-point round 11 loss to the second-placed Augusta-Margaret River the only blemish on an otherwise spotless record.

Bunbury are now well placed to claim back-to-back SWFL premierships — a feat they have only achieved once before when they won three premierships in a row in a stretch between 2003 and 2005.

The Bulldogs were crowned champions last season with a gritty 10-point win over the Busselton Magpies.

Hot on the heels of Bunbury is Augusta-Margaret River who look likely to make a SWFL reserves finals for the first time since 2013.

The Hawks trail Bunbury by just one game, and lead the third-placed South Bunbury by less than 2 per cent.

In fourth place are the Harvey Bulls, who are looking to feature in the finals series for the first time since joining the competition more than a decade ago.

Rounding out the top five is the Carey Park Panthers, who sit one win behind the Bulls.

The Eaton Boomers, Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault and Busselton all sit equal on wins with five each, and lead Dunsborough by just two points.

The Collie Eagles sit in second last with two wins and a draw to the Sharks. Donnybrook look likely to take home the wooden spoon having not won a game from their first 13 outings.
