More than a month after the SWFL climbed to the top of the country championships mountain, almost 50 of the competition’s women’s players gear up for their turn.

The SWFL took to social media to announce the extended squad for this year’s Nutrien Ag Country Championships Women’s competition in Mandurah on September 29 and 30.

The women’s competition will take place two months after the SWFL’s League representative team pulled off a undefeated run and beat Avon 17.13 (115) to 3.3 (21) in the division one grand final during the Nutrien Ag Solutions country football championship in July under the leadership of Chris Kinninmont.

The extended squad consists of 47 women across the competition’s eight teams, with Busselton nominating the highest number of players with 11.
