Woman dies after car slams into tree in Langford

A young woman is dead after her car slammed into a tree in Perth's south-east overnight.

The crash happened at about 11pm on Nicholson Road in Langford.

Police said the Suzuki hatch the woman was driving was travelling south when it struck a tree in the median strip.

The female driver in her 20’s and the sole occupant of the car was ejected from the vehicle and received life threatening injuries.

Emergency services arrived quickly but she died at the scene.
