An elderly cyclist has been rushed to hospital after being struck by an unregistered motorcycle in Perth yesterday.

The crash happened on the cycle path running alongside Roe Highway in Beckenham at 11.30am.

The unregistered off-road motorcycle collided with an 84-year-old rider on the cycle path.

The cyclist was critically injured in the crash and was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital.

The motorcyclist failed to stop after the crash. Witnesses described him as a fair-skinned male.
