Manjimup Community Opshop aims to turn pre-loved goods into cash that will benefit community organisations.

Established by a group of volunteers, the proceeds from the new shop will go directly back into the community.

“There are lots of different groups that probably need a bit of a helping hand,” Opshop president Peg Rubcich said.

Mrs Rubcich said the donation of goods had been overwhelming.

“The support from the Manjimup community has been wonderful and we are very grateful for it,” she said. “We are grateful to the people who helped us set this up, we’ve had lots of volunteers help ... people who are not involved in our group, they just come and offer their services and we are very grateful for that.”
