Man allegedly escapes quarantine at Howard Springs to go to pub

A man jumped the fence at the Howard Springs quarantine centre on Friday night and went to a Darwin pub, police allege.

Northern Territory police say the 27-year-old was witnessed scaling a fence before he was picked up in a white ute outside the quarantine centre.
