The new face at the helm of Kalgoorlie PCYC is one many families will be familiar with.

Julie Beeson helped run community programs at YMCA Goldfields for about 10 years before taking on the role of centre manager at the local PCYC last month.

Mrs Beeson has three children and is passionate about empowering children and young people to reach their potential.

Born and raised in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Mrs Beeson said she saw joining PCYC as an opportunity to develop professionally and have a positive impact on young people in her home town.
