The man was charged after being interrogated by police last night.

He was also questioned by detectives five days after Ms Dweh’s body was discovered at her home but was released without charges at the time.

Ms Dweh’s body was discovered on October 4 by her distraught brother Darius who had gone to investigate when she failed to turn up to a family event.

It is understood she was found lying in her bed with several injuries, including one to her head.

The 36-year-old was just weeks away from giving birth to her fourth child when she died.

Ms Dweh worked at an aged care home in Marangaroo and had just started maternity leave.

Family friends — who have been left devastated by her death — said she fled war in Liberia and spent years in a Nigerian refugee camp before she came to Australia and worked as an aged care nurse.

Sheila, a university friend of Ms Dweh's, described the murdered mum as “the best of the best”.

“She was a good friend. She was taken too soon. My heart goes out to the family, especially the kids,” she said.

“Her kids are just amazing, they are beautiful, beautiful kids.

“She had a heart of gold. This is the last thing that you would think would happen to someone like this. I couldn’t believe it happened, she’s quite young. She’s got a lot to look forward to."

The 50-year-old man will face Midland Magistrates Court today.
