Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Marybrook on Monday.

Around 2.30pm, a 60-year-old man was riding his blue Yamaha off-road motorcycle west on a dirt track which runs alongside the Vasse-Yallingup Siding Road, near Vasse Bypass.

The rider failed to negotiate a culvert that cut through the track and he crashed.

The 60-year-old man received critical injuries due to the crash and was conveyed to the Busselton Health Campus where he later died.

Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the blue off-road Yamaha motorcycle travelling in the area.

Police are also appealing for those with dash-cam vision of the motorcycle or the crash to upload it to https://wapf.au.evidence.com/axon/citizen/public/marybrookfatalcrash

Investigators particularly wish to speak to the rider of a green motorcycle who stopped to assist the 60-year-old man prior to emergency services arriving.
