A pharmacy in Donnybrook has branched out to add diabetes education to the list of services offered to the community, packaged in a new format.

Amcal Pharmacy Donnybrook, which is the second location in the country to become a Life Clinic, now offers a local diabetes professional who can work with the pharmacists to help community members.

The new service aims to deliver assistance in a unique way, streamlining the process of seeing a pharmacist and allied health practitioners in a community pharmacy setting.

Pharmacy Owner Rowan Lowe said it was about working with the local community as services were needed.

Community members are invited to attend the pharmacy’s launch as a Life Clinic on Tuesday to learn how to best manage their diabetes.
