A major supermarket has issued an urgent recall for a ‘gourmet’ ice cream over incorrect allergy information.

ALDI is conducting a recall of the 1 litre tubs of Indulge Butterscotch Pear Gourmet Ice Cream, due to incorrect packaging which does not declare the presence of peanuts in the product.

ALDI is conducting a recall of Indulge Butterscotch Pear Gourmet Ice Cream (1 Litre). The product has been available for sale at ALDI stores in QLD, NSW and the ACT.

Consumers with peanut allergies or intolerance have been warned they may have an allergic reaction if the product is eaten.

The ice cream is sold at ALDI stores across Queensland, NSW and the ACT.
