Albany MP Rebecca Stephens and South West MLC Alannah MacTiernan have a new electoral office, officially opened by Premier Mark McGowan last week.

In a whirlwind visit to Albany on September 13, Mr McGowan opened the bright red office on Middleton Loop with other local leaders and community members in attendance.

It is set to provide a space for the community to reach their parliamentary representatives including Labor stalwart Ms MacTiernan, who decided to open an office in Albany after the March election.

Ms MacTiernan is the Minister for Regional Development, Agriculture and Food, and Hydrogen Industry.

Ms Stephens said it was fantastic to have the Premier in town to open the office.

“Co-locating an office with Alannah MacTiernan is a proactive move to ensure that we are supporting not just the Albany community but also the lower Great Southern and South West region,” Ms Stephens said.
