The West Coast Eagles fell to their fourth loss of the 2021 AFLW season after a competitive first half against Greater Western Sydney at Blacktown International Sportspark on Sunday.

Denmark ruck Parris Laurie kicked a first-quarter goal after breaking free from her opponent at the 50m arc and running in to kick truly.

The Eagles trailed by seven points at the end of a high-scoring first term and the Giants pushed the margin to eight by the long break.

In search of their first win this season, the Eagles trimmed the deficit to seven points at three- quarter time but the home side kicked two majors in the fourth stanza to finish 20-point winners at the final siren.
