Contemporary, warm and gently aged, The Casa display home by Webb & Brown-Neaves balances old-world charm with high-end, modern-day conveniences.

Webb & Brown-Neaves Design Innovation Lead Joseph Calasara said the display redefined modern European living and embraced a luxurious yet laid-back aesthetic.

Situated in the affluent suburb of Mount Claremont, The Casa pushes the envelope for what is possible and honours a bygone history in new and appealing ways.

Mr Calasara said the home’s facade asserted a striking mix of textured and patterned materials.

“Reminiscent of Mediterranean residential architecture, The Casa embraces a rustic colour palette,” he said. “The exquisite home design includes Spanish roof tiles, Stucco Rustico-aged plastered walls and distressed Moroccan limestone flooring.”

Demonstrating meticulous craftsmanship, the display showcases an appealing mix of traditional, rustic and modern elements that are alluring and encourage guests to explore further.

Split over two levels, The Casa has tremendous kerb appeal and resembles home designs often found across European streetscapes.

Upon entering the display, guests are welcomed by an impressive natural stone-clad wall, which Mr Calasara described as grand and expansive.

A custom-designed staircase is centrally located and emphasises an overwhelming sense of opulence.

“As the home unfolds, a strong Mediterranean atmosphere is revealed,” Mr Calasara said.

“Heavily distressed sandstone flooring features throughout the ground level, providing a tactile feeling underfoot.”

The main living areas are grounded by warm, honey-coloured timber flooring, while timber-look tiles laid in a traditional herringbone pattern adorn the master ensuite.

Designed to encourage family conversations, the home’s kitchen embodies a modern European lifestyle and contains an enormous central island bench with ample storage.

“The kitchen is a standout area,” Mr Calasara said. “Cleverly designed, the space is fully equipped with high-end appliances that are hidden behind olive green cabinetry.”

Design-savvy details feature in every room, including the laundry, which is concealed behind a massive profiled door.

The main living area is extraordinarily grand, with a sunken lounge and raked ceilings.

“Four skylights were included to help fill the internal areas with natural light,” Mr Calasara said.

The outdoor living area has been well considered and can be utilised throughout the year.

“A central double-sided fireplace is a stylish inclusion that will help keep residents comfortable throughout the cooler months,” Mr Calasara said.

Going the extra mile to create a true Mediterranean environment, the display contains a carefully curated mix of plants to make residents feel like they are on a luxurious holiday, with olive and bay leaf trees making the outdoors feel complete and in tune with the overall home design.

“An enviable infinity-edge swimming pool clad with old rug tiles completes the outdoor space and is finished to perfection,” Mr Calasara said.

Although the home is heavily influenced by traditional design, the display is conveniently fitted with the latest technology, including voice control and smart appliances.

According to Mr Calasara, this luxurious design will give residents a reason to rejoice.

“It is a true evolution of style,” he said.

“Set to stand the test of time, this deluxe display is ideal for large families and prioritises sophistication and comfort.”

The Casa is open for viewing Wednesdays from 2-5pm and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 12-5pm.
