Forbes have conceded that while Kylie Jenner is not a billionaire, she is still pretty cashed up, crowning her the richest celebrity of 2020.

Jenner has taken out the number one spot on the Forbes 2020 list of highest paid celebs, making her the world’s highest paid celebrity annually.

“While she had exaggerated over the years about the size of her business, the money she pulled in from the deal was real—enough to rank as one of the biggest celebrity cashouts of all time,” Forbes reported.

It comes after Forbes just last week accused the reality star turned makeup mogul of inflating her wealth when they gave her the title of the youngest billionaire.

Releasing a statement, Forbes accused Jenner of forging tax documents so she would qualify for the story.

In 2019 the publication reported that at just 21 years old, the businesswoman was worth US$1 billion, giving her the controversial tag of “self-made billionaire”, beating out the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, and also gave her the title in 2020.

Jenner has strongly refuted the claims.

But, despite the recent drama, Forbes have conceded that while they think she might not be a billionaire, she is a multi-multi millionaire, earning $590 million US ($849m Australian dollars) this last year.

The world’s highest-paid celebrities, according to Forbes:

1 - Kylie Jenner: $590m ($849m AUD)

2 - Kanye West: $170m ($245m)

3 - Roger Federer: $106m ($153m)

4 - Cristiano Ronaldo: $105m ($151m)

5 - Lionel Messi: $104m ($150m)

6 - Tyler Perry: $97m ($140m)

7 - Neymar: $95.5 ($138m)

8 - Howard Stern: $90m ($130m)

9 - LeBron James: $88.2m ($127m)

10 - Dwayne Johnson: $87.5 ($127m)

A large part of this revenue is thanks to her selling a 51 per cent stake in her beauty giant Kylie Cosmetics to Coty, at a price tag of $600 million.

Before tax, Jenner pocketed $540 million USD.

The Forbes 2020 celeb 100 list proved that wealth runs deep in the Kardashian clan, with Kanye West— Jenner’s sister Kim Kardashian West’s husband— came in at runner up with a $170 million dollar annual income.

Roger Federer got a mention with $106.3 million earned this last year, while LeBron James, Dwayne Johnson and Howard Stern also scored a nod.
