Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky have shown off their expensive tastes during a rare look inside their secluded $20 million mega-mansion in Byron Bay.

High-end art, bohemian style furniture and glass-lined rooms overlooking luxe outdoor living areas are seen in a video shot inside the private compound. .

The Thor actor, 36, and his wife, 43, gave fans the rare peek when they filmed themselves raving to hit EDM song Freaks by Aussie DJ Fisher.

The living area is dominated by a white colour theme, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking a tropical garden setting, BBQ area and the mansion’s famous infinity pool.

A cosy indoor fire, big white couch and rustic dining table made from roughed-edge planks of wood complete the aesthetic.

The mansion took three years to build and sits on a hilltop surrounded by 4.2 hectares of secluded land which has sweeping views over the area’s Seven Mile Beach.

No expense was spared for the couple and their three children India Rose, seven, and five-year-old twin sons Tristan and Sasha with the Gold Coast Bulletin reporting the concrete design included 10 bathrooms, two bars, a media room and several living areas.

Hemsworth, who is renowned for his strict training regime and runs his own fitness program Centr, also included a gym, steam room, sauna and massage rooms — and added bespoke storage for 26 surfboards.

The grounds surrounding the home are dotted with mature palm trees and large swathes of lawn which open to outdoor living areas including a built-in fire pit and luxurious BBQ entertaining area.

The mansion’s crowning glory is the 50m infinity pool, which can be seen through the living room windows.

The couple left Los Angeles in 2015, setting up house at the Byron Bay property before demolishing the existing eight bedroom Balinese-style residence to build the mega-mansion.
